Toronto Bell Cote Heritage Preservation Presents Community Symposium: Climate Change and Emergency Preparedness
Honouring the 68th Anniversary of Hurricane Hazel, Toronto Bell Cote Heritage Preservation, a non-profit community service organization, is organizing an exciting and thought-provoking event. Experts on the environment and climate change, on-going watershed management, flood prevention and forecasting activities, and emergency preparedness will address these topics during a community Symposium on Climate Change and Emergency Preparedness to be held on Sunday, October 16 from 1 to 3:30 pm. The event will take place at Toronto Bell Cote, the former rescue center for survivors of Hurricane Hazel, 691 Scarlett Road, Etobicoke.
