The Canada Black Music Archives (CBMA) will be hosting their annual Black History Month Showcase on Thursday, February 5th, 2026!

With support from TD Bank Group through TD Ready Commitment and sponsored by the Government of Canada through the Department of Canadian Heritage, this exciting FREE event will be hosted at the City of Toronto Archives and promises an exciting lineup with some of Toronto’s premier R&B and soul artists.

This special programming includes a daytime presentation with musician and esteemed chef Roger Mooking in conversation with CBMA co-founder Phil Vassell.

The evening showcase will feature stellar performances by veteran Black Canadian musician’s including Jully Black, Liberty Silver, Tanika Charles, Divine Brown and Dru (In Essence), with mixes by DJ Carl Allen and hosted by Mel Boogie.
