About our Guest:

Edda has studied various aspects of handwriting for over thirty years. In 1990 she received her CGA designation from The International Graphoanalysis Society (IGAS). Further study led to her successfully completing her exam in 1995 with the American Association of Handwriting Analysts (AAHA). Currently she serves this organization as VP – Region 2 Canada. She is also accredited with and a member of the American Handwriting Analysis Foundation (AHAF).

For the past twenty years Edda’s passion has been keeping cursive handwriting in school curriculums. To that end she was one of the founding members of Campaign for Cursive and contributed to information given to politicians in the USA in the 21 states that enacted legislation to bring cursive back into their curriculum after it was removed from the Common Core curriculum. For seven years she also organized the Cursive is Cool handwriting contest for English schools in Canada.

For several years she has given cursive handwriting classes through the Oakville Library system in both Oakville and Milton. She has also privately tutored students in cursive for many years.
