Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. Every year at the end of each September, millions of people attend thousands of free participatory arts and culture events across the country both in-person and online. Culture Days programs invite the public to get hands-on and behind-the-scenes to highlight the importance of arts and culture in our communities.
The Oakville Historical Society is proud to participate in Culture Days. Join us to explore interactive demonstrations and learn about the life of early settlers at The Thomas House, built in 1829 as the original home of The Thomas Family, and now furnished and presented as a pioneer home of the 1830 -1840s.
