Join Chef Leo Chan as he presents the stories of two Chinese men who worked for Canadian families in Toronto in the first half of the twentieth century. The men were employed as home cooks outside of Chinatown and interacted with households in an environment unfamiliar with Chinese immigrants. Mr. Wong Dong Wong worked for two generations of an Irish Canadian family and is the subject of the book Finding Mr. Wong by Susan Crean. Mr. Lee Sew left behind a handwritten book of recipes.

Author Susan Crean will have copies of her book, Finding Mr. Wong available for purchase prior to the presentation.
