The Guelph Black Heritage Society invites the community to an Emancipation Month Flag Raising Ceremony on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Heritage Hall, 83 Essex Street, Guelph.

This special ceremony honours Emancipation Month, celebrates Black heritage, and recognizes the resilience, achievements, and ongoing contributions of Black communities.
