Join us to celebrate the 164th Owen Sound Emancipation Festival and the longest and continuous festival in North America! The Emancipation Festival & Picnic takes place in beautiful Harrison Park. Excited to welcome and strengthen family and community connections, so come out and enjoy some amazing live entertainment, information booths, food vendors, silent
auction, races and other activities being planned for this signature summer event!

9:30 a.m. – Registration at Harrison Park
10 a.m. – Coffee and Meet & Greet
11 :30 a.m. – Welcome Freedom Walkers and greetings; M`Wikwedong Indigenous Friendship Centre Drummers; dignitary remarks; music by Kaiya Cade Blackburn; Black History Cairn storytelling and more!
12:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Live entertainment by Hungry Life, Switchback and Deejay Firefly Entertainment (Pavillion stage). Enjoy the performances, mingle, eat, visit the information booths, food vendors, check out the raffle prizes, races and other activities(Pavilion & picnic grounds)
