2025 Taste Canada Awards Soirée
Taste Canada is dedicated to celebrating and promoting Canadian culinary authors through our year-round programs.
Our premier event, the Taste Canada Awards Soirée, is the highlight of the fall season. Join us for the biggest night in Canadian cookbooks on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. This is Canada’s only national, bilingual awards program dedicated to culinary writing, and it promises to be an exceptional evening.
Celebrated pastry chef, TV personality and award-winning cookbook author Anna Olson will host the ceremony, presenting gold and silver awards to the best English and French-language books. The excitement continues as we crown the winners of the Taste Canada Cooks the Books competition, presented by Canada Beef, and honour two new inductees into the Taste Canada Hall of Fame, presented by the Culinary Historians of Canada.
The night concludes with an incredible Chefs’ Celebration Reception. Mingle with some of Canada’s top industry professionals and culinary talent while celebrating seasonal ingredients and the vibrant, innovative and traditional spirit of Canadian cuisine prepared by some of the country’s finest chefs.
