Tips, advice, and insight on applying for cultural or heritage project funding
from the Government of Ontario

Summary:

This session will provide advice and guidance to cultural institutions and organizations applying for funding through Grants Ontario, including the PHO, HODG, Community Museum Operating and Pay Equity Grants, Culture Development Fund, and Summer Experience Program grants.

Hosted in partnership with the Multicultural History Society of Ontario (MHSO), the webinar will provide advice from experienced applicants, and an opportunity to speak directly with Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport representatives for in-depth process insight.

Speakers: Cathy Leekham of the Multicultural History Society of Ontario, Kate Oxley – Heritage Outreach Consultant from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport, Ryan Frigault from Grants Ontario, and Angelina French – Program Assistant also from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport.

The Multicultural History Society of Ontario is a not-for-profit educational institution and heritage centre which publicizes, preserves and makes accessible material which demonstrates the role of immigration and ethnicity in shaping the cultural and economic development of Toronto, Ontario and Canada.

The Regional Support Services Unit of the Ministry of Citizenship & Immigration manages and administers the Grants Ontario application web platform and funding program, providing support for grants provided by the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration; Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport; and, the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario; and, selected grants from the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs.
