The Friends of Fort York, in partnership with the Canadian Institute for Historical Education, is pleased to host celebrated historian Dr. Alan Taylor. As geopolitical circumstances evolve, we are presented with an opportunity to emphasize the importance of learning more about the long history of relations between Canada and the United States. Join us on November 11, at 7:00 pm, at Cameron Hall at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church (1585 Yonge St.) for a thought-provoking conversation on how we understand national history, how this history influences the moments we remember, or indeed forget, and why it matters on both sides of the Canada-US border. No reservation required, $10 donation encouraged at the door.
