The OHS’s 132nd Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on Saturday June 20 at 1:00 p.m. EDT. The AGM will be for OHS members only and is not open to the public. The Honours and Awards Ceremony will take place on a separate occasion later this year.
Dr. Tim Cook of The Canadian War Museum will be presenting on “The Rise, Fall, and Rise Again of Canadian Public History” directly following the business portion of the meeting.
The meeting will be conducted by webinar through a video/telephone service called Zoom. Instructions about how to participate by computer, smart device, or telephone will be provided after registration, along with the AGM information package.

Dr. Tim Cook is a historian at The Canadian War Museum, where he has curated permanent, temporary, travelling and digital exhibitions. He has authored 13 books, including The Fight for History: 75 Years of Forgetting, Remembering, and Remaking Canada’s Second World War (2020).
His best-selling books have won multiple awards, including the Ottawa Book Award (3 times), the C.P. Stacey Award for best book in Canadian Military History (twice), the J.W. Dafoe Book Prize (twice), and the RBC Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction.
He is a director for Canada’s History Society, and a member of the Royal Society of Canada and the Order of Canada.
