Sharing a message that may be of interest to OHS members.

You are invited to participate in a survey exploring how rural museums, galleries, heritage organizations, and cultural institutions in Canada secure funding and finance their work.

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Participation is anonymous. Data will be used for academic research examining funding practices, barriers to grant access, and alternative funding approaches used by museums and galleries in rural communities.

Findings will contribute to a chapter titled “Closing the Gap: New Understandings of Funding in Rural Heritage Organizations” by Samantha Summers, in Small Museums and Art Galleries in Canada, ed. Matthew Ryan Smith (forthcoming, University of Manitoba Press). In submitting your survey, you agree that the data you share may be anonymized and used in aggregate for publication.
