Heritage Ottawa is delighted to be offering our popular heritage field trip. The day-long coach tour to historic Brockville via Prescott includes three heritage stops plus commentary by experienced and knowledgeable tour guide David Jeanes on 15 other heritage sites along the way, particularly along the picturesque Highway 2.

WHERE: Meet by 8:30 am at Arts Court, 2 Daly Avenue for an 8:45 am departure to Brockville by coach.
COST: $70 per person includes round-trip coach transportation, all guided museum visits and professional commentary along the tour route.Please note: Lunch is not included in the price of the trip. Restaurants or takeout will be suggested, or bring your own lunch.

Brockville’s history is one of imposing architecture, railways, prominent manufacturers, formidable wealth, and wonderful characters who shaped this historic riverfront community. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn and explore with Heritage Ottawa.
Our coach trip offers three fascinating tours: the 1860 Brockville Railway Tunnel (Canada’s oldest and recently restored), Prescott’s Fort Wellington and Fulford Place National Historic Site.

ITINERARY
8:30 am: Meet at Arts Court, 2 Daly Avenue, Ottawa
8:45 am: Coach departs Arts Court
10:30 am: Fort Wellington National Historic Site
11:30-1:00 pm: Lunch break and free time to explore (Brockville Walking Tour Map and Restaurant Guide provided)
1:00 pm: Brockville Railway Tunnel (guided visit with full 525 metre walk-through optional)
2:00 pm: Fulford Place National Historic Site of Canada (guided tour)
4:30 pm: Coach returns to Arts Court

We will provide a Brockville walking map and restaurant guide, free bottled water, masks for those who prefer to wear one, a professional guide who will provide historic commentary, and comfortable coach transportation with PA system and washroom. Washrooms will also be available at all stops.
