Our premier event, the Taste Canada Awards Soirée, is the highlight of the fall season. Join us for the biggest night in Canadian cookbooks on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto.

As Canada’s only national, bilingual cookbook awards, we will honour the outstanding authors and books named to the 2026 Taste Canada Awards Shortlist and reveal the Gold and Silver winners across the English- and French-language categories. ⁠

The excitement continues as we crown the winners of the Taste Canada Cooks the Books competition, presented by Canada Beef, and honour two new inductees into the Taste Canada Hall of Fame, presented by the Culinary Historians of Canada.

The night concludes with an incredible Chefs’ Celebration Reception. Mingle with some of Canada’s top industry professionals and culinary talent while celebrating seasonal ingredients and the vibrant, innovative and traditional spirit of Canadian cuisine prepared by some of the country’s finest chefs.
