DESCRIPTION:Please join us (at 13 Spring St. Flesherton) April 2\, 2022\, for a celebration of Agnes Macphail. \n\nDoors open at 2 p.m.\nSmall performance starts 2:30 p.m. courtesy of the Hanley Theatre Club\nCake and refreshments to follow\n\nAgnes Campbell MacPhail became the first woman elected to Canada’s House of Commons\, on December 6th\, 1921\, and served as a Member of Parliament from 1921 to 1940. She is the definition of a badass woman\, who worked hard for the good of the people. A real mentor to look up to. We are pleased to invite the community to our celebration of Agnes Macphail.
