SUMMARY:Thunder Bay Museum: Court Street Historical Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join the Thunder Bay Museum on our 2022 Historical Walking Tours. This year\, we are offering five tours: Port Arthur\, Fort William\, Court Street\, Westfort\, and East End Tours. Learn some fascinating aspects of local history; all you have to do is walk and listen! \nThe tours are approximately 1.5km and should last about 90 minutes. Be sure to dress appropriately. These tours welcome participants of all ages\, but some of the content may not be suitable for small children. Parental discretion is advised. \nAdmission for the tours is $10 per person. To register visit https://www.thunderbaymuseum.com/walking-tours/ or call the Museum at 807-623-0801. \nPreregistration is required for the tours\, payment will not be accepted during the tours. \n\nWho was William Leithenen and how did he meet his tragic fate? Why did the Queen place a naval training center so far from the ocean? Who were some of Port Arthur’s most well-to-do residents and where did they live? \nLearn the answer’s to these questions and more on this tour! \nThe tour is approximately 1.5 km and should last about 90 minutes. \nThe Historical Walking Tours will operate weather permitting\, we encourage you to dress appropriately. In instances of inclement weather\, we will do our best to reschedule the walking tour. If we are unable to reschedule the tour or you cannot join us at the later date we will be offering full refunds. \nOur tours welcome participants of all ages\, but some of the content may not be suitable for small children.
