Why not enjoy the best that fall has to offer with an exclusive invitation to tour an enchanting forest trail alongside the river on private property in the heart of the Hills of Headwaters? \nPLEASE NOTE: This is a one-time ONLY\, weekend access to this stunning property! \n  \nWest Credit River Heritage Walk \n(a self-guided tour between 45-60 minutes long with starting timeslots every half hour) \n  \nMurder in Belfountain? Group of 7 views? Indigenous artifacts? Spot the trout in the river? \nThe Belfountain Heritage Society invites you to experience the West Credit River like never before through a series of vignettes created along the river’s edge depicting the geology\, the area’s earliest human inhabitants and the brook trout ecosystem. \nDo you know which Group of Seven members painted in Belfountain more than 100 years ago? Discover the landscapes that inspired these iconic Canadian artists to capture the pristine natural beauty of this area. \nWatch Plein-air artist\, Kayla Jackson\, continue the Go7 tradition of painting outdoors. Local potter & artist\, Wendy Mitchell from Treehouse Pottery will be there with her one-of-a-kind Earth Coins made from local clay as well as her distinctive pottery. \nStroll the site of Belfountain’s first gristmill and first murder!
