DESCRIPTION:Greetings from North York Central Library! \nThe Library will be holding a session of Lest We Forget : North York’s Eleven on: \nMonday November 10 11AM to 1PM in Room 101 of the North York Central Library. \nThis session will allow participants to look through a World War I personnel file of one of the eleven North York Soldiers who lost their lives with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in the First World War. \nInterested participants\, please call the Society & Recreation Department at 416-395-5660 to register as we would like the ratio of participants to records to be 2 to 1 and a few 3 to 1 (maximum 24 participants). \nThis session will consist of a presentation of the background of the project\, what to look for in the records including the use of websites to help with further research. Participants should consider bringing a laptop to use electronic resources available. \nThis session is an opportunity to show all Torontonians (adults of all ages and youth) what happened to the eleven soldiers of North York who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Service of Canada. For resources and a background of the project\, please see the web link at the end of this email. A resource package will be provided at the session to work from. \nHope to see you on Monday November 10 for 11AM!
