SUMMARY:Annual General Meeting - Friends of Waterloo Region Museum
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Waterloo Region Museum host their 63rd Annual General Meeting\, reviewing their 2018 activities and plans for 2019 in support of the Waterloo Region Museum and Doon Heritage Village.  The meeting takes place on Wednesday\, April 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum. At 7:30 p.m.\, join us for a presentation by Regional Chair Karen Redman about the Region’s direction regarding the preservation of history and culture. Everyone is welcome. \nFriends of Waterloo Region Museum\nThe Friends of Waterloo Region Museum is a voluntary public foundation dedicated to the preservation of Waterloo Region’s history and cultures. \nFriends Vision Statement\nWorking in partnership with Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum staff and volunteers\, the Friends of Waterloo Region Museum support and contribute to the preservation of the heritage\, culture and traditions of Waterloo Region. \nFriends Mission Statement\nTo support the mandate of the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum by: \n\nsupporting and promoting the value of our volunteers\ncreatively fundraising\nenhancing education\nstakeholder advocacy\nenhancing community presence
