SUMMARY:Canadian Royal Heritage Trust Zoom Lecture: A Canadian Royal Mews
DESCRIPTION:The following presentation will be the Canadian Royal Heritage Trust / Monarchy Canada November Zoom lecture on Wednesday\, 10th November\, 2021\, with the choice of two times for attending – 2:30 p.m. EST or 7:30 p.m. EST. This month’s lecture is changed from the usual day of Thursday to avoid conflicting with Remembrance Day observances. \nA Canadian Royal Mews \nThis is an illustrated presentation on the history of royal carriages and automobiles used in Canada by members of the Royal Family\, and the representatives of the Sovereign\, from the nineteenth century to the twenty-first century\, or currently housed in Canada. The lecture will discuss how and why the vehicles were acquired\, where they are today\, and whether they should be in one location as a Canadian Royal Mews\, comparable to the Royal Mews of carriages near Buckingham Palace in London. \nIf you wish to attend the lecture\, please email garry.toffoli@rogers.com by midnight of Tuesday\, 9th November\, indicating which of the two times you wish to join. A Zoom invitation will then be sent to you on Wednesday morning with the link by which you can connect. \n
