CFHA Student Essay Award and Scholarship Accepting Applications
The Canadian Friends Historical Association are now accepting applications for this year's Student Essay Award and Scholarship.
The essay award and scholarship is intended to promote awareness of the Canadian Friends Historical Association (CFHA) and local meetings among students, to facilitate student interest in research related to Canadian Quaker history, and to create additional content for the CFHA publications.
There are three prizes available:
-One $200 student essay scholarship is available to junior high school students
-One $300 award is available to senior high school students
-One scholarship of $1500 per year for each of two years is available
to a university student undertaking a program in relevant
Canadian Quaker research.
Deadlines: apply by July 1; winners will be notified by September 30.
