SUMMARY:Thunder Bay Museum: DIY Studio - Paint Night at the Museum
DESCRIPTION:Join the Thunder Bay Museum and the DIY Pottery Studio for an evening of painting with inspiration from the current Strawberry Hill pottery exhibit!  \nCome view the exhibit before it comes down April 1\, be inspired by the unique art work\, and paint your very own piece from DIY Studio’s collection.  \nJoin us in our Multi-Purpose Room where we will have a mix of various pieces of pottery available to paint including animals and mugs.   \nA selection of meat\, cheeses\, and vegetables from Nucci’s will be available along with coffee\, tea\, water\, and juice which is included with your ticket. \nGuests can arrive at 5:30pm to view the exhibit and painting begins at 6:00pm to 8:00pm.   \nYour pieces will be kilned at the DIY Pottery Studio located on 71 S Algoma Street\, Unit 4 and pick up with take place at the Studio.  Instructions to care for your pieces will also be provided.  For information on the DIY Pottery Studio check out their website at https://diystudiotbay.ca/  \nWE ARE REQUIRING THAT ALL ATTENDEES OLDER THAN 5 YEARS WILL NEED TO SHOW PROOF\, AT THE TIME OF ENTRY TO THE MUSEUM\, OF VACCINATION FOR COVID-19 USING A QR CODE.  MORE INFORMATION ON HOW TO ACQUIRE THE QR CODE: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/get-proof/

DESCRIPTION:CFHA’s biweekly winter and spring lecture series based on Quakerism in the Atlantic World\, 1690-1830 \nThe Canadian Friends Historical Association is excited to announce our lecture series by the chapter authors of Quakerism in the Atlantic World\, 1690-1830 (Penn State University Press\, 2021. \nThe virtual series begins Saturday\, January 15th\, and will run every second Saturday.
